EN-705 Software Engineer Team Lead - Staff - Cleveland, OH
A manufacturing software company in Mayfield Heights needs a software engineer to lead the development of a large, complex automation project.
This project will include all phases of a product lifecycle: requirements gathering, software architecture, software design, implementation and maintenance. The deliverables from this development project will be a highly adaptable, sustainable automation infrastructure. This project will be used by the software test organization to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing.
You will lead a small to medium sized group of engineers in maintaining the current system while specifying, developing and delivering the next generation of the automation platform. This may include the selection of a new automation tool used to develop the framework.
This position will ensure the automation framework meets the current and future automation needs of the test groups. This includes a complete understanding of the test requirements and the ability to architect a solution to meet these requirements.
Requirements:
o. Experience as a team lead on LARGE Windows GUI-based software products (Absolutely Required)
o. 7+ years with C++ and Visual Basic (Required)
o. Experience with Visual Basic (Required)
o. Experience with .NET and Java is a plus
o. Experience in test automation is a major plus
o. Experience in industrial controls or manufacturing software a plus
o. Degree in applicable field (Required)
