Oversees team of individuals responsible for the origination of commercial mortgage loans for correspondent investors. Also responsible for an individual portfolio. Communicates with existing and prospective clients to generate new business. Maintains connection with attorneys, accountants, title agents and commercial real estate brokers to market our financial services.
Responsible for the delegation of work and management of other RE Capital Markets Loan Originators.
Strong knowledge of the commercial real estate field. Comprehensive knowledge of loan underwriting and closing process. Knowledge of real estate financing and valuation relating to retail, office, industrial and multi-family projects. Good verbal and written communication skills a must. Computer skills are a must, specifically, Microsoft Excel and Argus software.
Strong management skills required.
